What is digital ecosystem

Ecosistema Digitale Sicilia, as conceived, aims to create the ideal environment for a territory's digital ecosystem, in which businesses, public administration and citizens can develop innovative initiatives by adopting the Open Innovation paradigm.

What is proposed

The goal of the project is to systemize the network of SMEs with tools and services that are able to support companies in the creation of an On-Demand production capacity available to all partners. The project intends to seize the opportunity to propose itself in the Sicilian territory as a hub of the network envisaged by the Industry 4.0 plan, giving the expertise on the subject, hired through Etna Hitech and the partner companies, the ability to invest in the realization a unique structure in Sicily in terms of space and available technologies, and aims to establish itself as a center of the ecosystem for digital innovation in the Region.
