What is primus
The project aims to facilitate the movement of large-scale retail goods by aggregating and analyzing goods sales data in real time to derive forecasts of customer purchases. As a result of such forecasts, the following can be chosen more effectively: the products to be traveled, the destinations of the products, and the timing of product shipment. This results in economies, as (i) perishable goods would not be sent to outlets that potentially do not need them, and (ii) a reduced need for transportation would result in fewer vehicles (or less vehicle weight) and thus less fuel consumption. In addition, the proposed solution will allow individual outlets to send data automatically, thus not engaging people to select, aggregate, and send data.
